It's been Ten years since Erudite attacked Abnegation using the Dauntless members but since then the conflicts have been resolved and the initiation processes have been revamped and changed. The process is mostly the same except that all the initiates from every faction stay in a building within the city and are taken into the compounds/neighbourhoods of their future factions for training when needed.
They will sleep in the same facility and have their meals but will attend training and all other initiation activities within their intended Faction.
