Assistant Football Coach/Recruiting Coordinator - Allegheny College

Allegheny College, a member of the NCAA Division III and North Coast Athletic Conference (NCAC), is currently seeking applications for an Assistant Football Coach.?? This is a full-time, twelve-month annual appointment with comprehensive benefits package. Coaching responsibilities include the secondary and serving as the football recruiting coordinator. ?The right candidate may also act as defensive coordinator.?

Bachelor?s degree required; Master?s degree preferred.? Duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Assist head coach with the organization and direction of all aspects of a competitive football program. Specific responsibilities include identification and recruitment of athletically and academically qualified student-athletes; regular practice sessions and game preparation; and assisting with overseeing the administrative process for team travel, program budgets, public/alumni relations and promoting the philosophy and objectives of the Department of Athletics and Recreation.? Assistants should also understand the Division III philosophy and thrive in an extremely motivated, team oriented atmosphere. Event management or other major duties will be assigned by the Athletic Director.?

As a founding member of the North Coast Athletic Conference, the Allegheny Football program has a rich tradition of excellence including multiple NCAC team titles, numerous all-Americans, as well as the 1990 Division III National Championship title.? The program recently became the 35th DIII football team to surpass 500 victories.? The College also sponsors 21 NCAA Division III athletic programs, as well as a vibrant offering of club sports, intramural, fitness and outdoor recreational activities.?
