Domestic violence doesn?t discriminate. it doesn?t care if you?re wealthy or poor; white or black. The problem is usually overlooked, excused, or denied for various reasons. Maybe you don?t want to believe you?re in a domestic violence situation. Maybe you think your spouse, girlfriend, or boyfriend will change. Stop making excuses for the man or woman who?s committing the domestic violence. Learn and know the warning signs and get out before it?s too late.
Women and children are usually the ones that suffer at the hands of domestic violence, but men suffer from it as well. The bottom line is that it?s not acceptable. everyone deserves to feel respected, valued, loved, and safe. no one has the right to treat you like dirt and you don?t have to take it. Stop listening to the lies that you wouldn?t be able to find someone else better. Of course, you would. there are billions of people in the world, why wouldn?t you be able to find someone else? Take off the blinders and get out now before it?s too late. your life depends on it

If you answered yes to the majority of the above statements, you?re in a domestic violence relationship and need to get out if you want to live. If you have children, you owe it to them to get out. when your partner tells you that he/she will stop and get help, they?re lying. How many times have they said they would get help? If they haven?t received help by now, they won?t get it. most abusers don?t think they have a problem; it?s always their partner?s problem. This isn?t true. your partner is unhappy with their life and can be the only to turn it around for good. no one can do the work for them.
Domestic violence and abuse are used to gain power and control over you. The only one that has control is you. Take your power back and get out of your domestic violence situation. If you suspect that someone your love is in an abusive situation, get them help today because you may not get a second chance. no other human being has the right to abuse another.
